Quality Control: Three-Stage Inspection for PCB and PCBA

Three inspection gates, one goal: boards that work the first time and every time after.

Three Inspection Gates

IQC (Incoming). Laminate and copper certificates verified against purchase specs; bare boards checked for warpage, pad damage and mask condition; components checked for date codes, MSL packaging and label-to-BOM match before anything enters the line.

IPQC (In-Process). First-article approval at every changeover, 100% 3D SPI on solder paste, 100% post-reflow AOI, X-Ray on every BGA batch and thermal profiles documented per reflow run.

OQC (Outgoing). 100% electrical test (flying probe or universal fixture), AQL sampling to IPC-A-600/610 acceptance criteria, and final visual, dimension and packaging checks against your order spec.

Acceptance Standards

  • IPC-A-600 Class 2/3 for bare boards; IPC-A-610 Class 2/3 for assemblies.
  • IPC-TM-650 test methods for peel strength, micro-section and impedance coupons.
  • IPC Class 3 capability and deliverables detailed on our Certifications page.

Documents With Every Order

  • Certificate of Conformance (COC)
  • E-test and impedance coupon reports; X-Ray images for BGA assemblies
  • Material certificates and lot traceability on request — see Certifications

Equipment details and photos are maintained on the Equipment page as the single authoritative list.
